Lakeville South Cougars (Lakeville, MN) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the host Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN), 56-14 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Lakeville South improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Cougars host Champlin Park (Champlin, MN) to play the Rebels in a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. The Rebels go into the battle with a record of 3-5. Champlin Park won 29-20 in their recent league battle against Centennial (Circle Pines, MN)

The Lightning now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Eagan for a non-league battle on Thursday, October 17. Eastview will play a Wildcats team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-3.
