Warner Monarchs (Warner, SD) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their football squad wallop the host North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD), 55-12 in a league contest.
The Monarchs (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD). The Titans enter the Lake Region (9 Man) contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Leola/Frederick was trounced by Ipswich (Ipswich, SD), 14-12, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Thunder battle the Ipswich Tigers (Ipswich, SD) in a Lake Region (9 Man) contest, on Friday, October 18. North Central will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 5-2 record after their 14-12 league win over Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD).
