Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Eagan Wildcats (Eagan, MN) and the host Marshall Tigers (Marshall, MN), observed Eagan's volleyball team top Marshall by a count of 2-0.

The Wildcats (18-3) will now prepare for their contest against Champlin Park (Champlin, MN). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 14-7 record. In their last contest, Champlin Park notched a victory over Andover (Andover, MN), 3-1, in a league contest.

Next, the Tigers battle the Prior Lake Lakers (Prior Lake, MN) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 11. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 22-3 season record. The Lakers go into the battle with a 13-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN).
