Marion County Red Raiders (Guin, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the host Winfield Pirates (Winfield, AL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Red Raiders (15-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Phillips (Bear Creek, AL). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 0-16 record. In their last challenge, Phillips was nudged by Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Brilliant Tigers (Brilliant, AL) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 11. Winfield will attempt to advance on its 10-9 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 12-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL).
