In Thursday's non-league match, the host North Stanly Comets football squad scored a big 44-6 victory over the South Stanly Rowdy Rebel Bulls.
In their next game, the Comets clash with the Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC) in a non-league match, on Thursday, October 19. North Stanly will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 3-4 record after their 30-16 non-league win over Albemarle (Albemarle, NC).
