The Western Albemarle Warriors volleyball team (Crozet, VA), was nudged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA)

The Flying Flucos (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 4-10 record. In their last challenge, Orange County was nudged by Louisa County (Mineral, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Warriors meet the Monticello Mustangs (Charlottesville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 19. Western Albemarle will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record.
