Next, the Nighthawks confront the Notre Dame Catholic Lancers (Fairfield, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 17. Newtown will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Pomperaug (Southbury, CT).

The Red Devils now have a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bunnell for a Southwest - Colonial challenge on Saturday, October 14. Stratford will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 4-1 league loss to Masuk (Monroe, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 6-3.
