Illinois High School Volleyball - Elk Grove edged by Prospect

The Prospect Knights volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Elk Grove Grenadiers to 1 in the Knights league victory on Thursday.
The Knights now have a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carmel for a non-league game on Friday, October 13. Prospect will confront a Corsairs team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Marist (Chicago, IL). The Corsairs record now stands at 11-15.
The Grenadiers (10-20) will now prepare for their game against Palatine (Palatine, IL). The Pirates enter the Mid-Suburban game with a 14-19 record. In their last game, Palatine held off Batavia (Batavia, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
