The Lone Grove Longhorns held off the host Sulphur Bulldogs football team by a count of 27-20 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Lone Grove upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Longhorns travel to Douglass (Oklahoma City, OK) to encounter the Trojans in a 3A District 2 outing on Thursday, October 20. The Trojans go into the outing with a record of 2-5. Douglass lost 48-0 in their recent league bout against Marlow (Marlow, OK)
