The Tatum Coyotes volleyball team (Tatum, NM), was dropped 3-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the host Lovington Wildcats (Lovington, NM)
The Wildcats (3-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs enter the 4A District 4 challenge with a 12-5 record. In their last challenge, Artesia defeated Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Coyotes meet the Jal Panthers (Jal, NM) in a 2A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, October 18. Tatum will attempt to move on its 8-10 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Eunice (Eunice, NM).
