Mississippi High School Football - Newton drops to Bay Springs

In Friday's league game, the Bay Springs Bulldogs (Bay Springs, MS) football team knocked off the host Newton Tigers (Newton, MS), by a score of 40-16.

The Bulldogs (7-1) will now prepare for their game against Lake (Lake, MS). The Hornets come into the 2A Region 5 game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Lake toppled Morton (Morton, MS), 43-27, in a non-league game.
