In Friday's league match, the visiting Salisbury Hornets football squad scored a good 44-13 victory over the Lexington Yellowjackets.

In their next game, the Hornets clash with the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a 1A/2A Central Carolina match, on Friday, October 27. Salisbury will attempt to move on its 9-0 season record.

The Yellowjackets (5-3) will now prepare for their match against North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Cavaliers enter the 1A/2A Central Carolina match with a 7-1 record. In their last match, North Rowan ran past West Davidson (Lexington, NC), 48-6, in a league match.
