The West Lincoln Bears football team (Brookhaven, MS), was tipped 30-27 in Friday's league challenge with the host Wilkinson County Wildcats (Woodville, MS)

The Wildcats (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Amite County (Liberty, MS). The Trojans come into the 2A Region 7 challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Amite County was tipped by Loyd Star (Brookhaven, MS), 19-12, in a league challenge.

The Bears now sport a 2-6 record. They take the field next when they host Loyd Star for a 2A Region 7 challenge on Friday, October 20. West Lincoln will meet a Hornets team coming off a 23-21 league win over Bogue Chitto (Bogue Chitto, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 7-1.
