Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA) followers went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their football team tip the host Chambersburg Trojans (Chambersburg, PA), 20-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Altoona advances its record to 6-7 on the season. The Mountain Lions travel to Jersey Shore (Jersey Shore, PA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Monday, October 13. The Bulldogs go into the battle with a record of 1-0.

The Trojans now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Cumberland Valley for a non-league challenge on Monday, October 20. Chambersburg will face a Eagles team coming off a 14-8 non-league loss to Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-3.
