Nevada High School Football - Churchill County beat Fernley

The Churchill County Greenwave football squad scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Fernley Vaqueros to 28 in the Greenwave league victory on Friday.

The Greenwave now possess a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lowry for a 3A Northern - East battle on Friday, October 21. Churchill County will face a Buckaroos squad coming off a 26-6 league loss to Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV). The Buckaroos record now stands at 4-3.

Coming up next, the Vaqueros face the Carson Senators (Carson City, NV) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 21. Fernley will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Senators enter the battle with a 2-7 record after their 12-11 league win over Douglas (Minden, NV).
