The Riverhead Blue Waves football team (Riverhead, NY), was knocked off 9-0 in Saturday's league challenge with the visiting Brentwood Indians (Brentwood, NY)

The Indians (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Patchogue-Medford (Medford, NY). The Raiders come into the Section 11 Division I challenge with a 0-6 record. In their last challenge, Patchogue-Medford was knocked off by Longwood (Middle Island, NY), 54-7, in a league challenge.

The Blue Waves now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Connetquot for a Section 11 Division I challenge on Friday, October 20. Riverhead will meet a T-Birds team coming off a 28-17 non-league loss to Ward Melville (East Setauket, NY). The T-Birds record now stands at 3-3.
