California High School Flag Football - Santa Clara prevails Gunn

In Monday's league match, the visiting Santa Clara Bruins flag football squad scored a good 25-13 triumph over the Gunn Titans.

The Bruins (16-4) will now prepare for their match against Monta Vista (Cupertino, CA). The Matadors come into the match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, Monta Vista defeated Kathleen MacDonald (San Jose, CA), 38-14, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Titans confront the Wilcox Chargers (Santa Clara, CA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, October 16. Gunn will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Chargers come into the match with a 4-7 record after their 13-7 league loss to Los Altos (Los Altos, CA).
