North Carolina High School Volleyball - Ashe County over Freedom

The Ashe County Huskies volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Freedom Patriots to 0 in the Huskies league triumph on Monday.

The Huskies now have a 16-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hibriten for a Northwestern 3A/4A outing on Tuesday, October 15. Ashe County will play a Panthers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 9-9.

With the loss, Freedom drops to 3-17 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC) to play the Cougars in a Northwestern 3A/4A outing on Thursday, October 17. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 9-8. Alexander Central won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Watauga (Boone, NC)
