In Tuesday's league outing, the host Piedmont Community Charter Patriots soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Jackson Day Mariners.

The Patriots (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Carolina International (Concord, NC). The Comets go into the Metro Eight 1A outing with a 2-8 record. In their last outing, Carolina International was overwhelmed by Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC), 9-1, in a league outing.

Next up, the Mariners confront the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a Metro Eight 1A outing, on Friday, October 18. Jackson Day will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Stallions go into the outing with a 5-7 record after their 9-1 league win over Carolina International (Concord, NC).
