Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Easthampton/Hampshire Eagles (Easthampton, MA) and the visiting Holyoke Purple Knights (Holyoke, MA), observed Easthampton/Hampshire's volleyball team top Holyoke by a count of 3-1.

The Eagles (4-13) will now prepare for their contest against East Longmeadow (East Longmeadow, MA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, East Longmeadow notched a victory over Chicopee (Chicopee, MA), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Purple Knights battle the Putnam Vo-Tech Beavers (Springfield, MA) in a Pioneer Valley - Central contest, on Wednesday, October 16. Holyoke will attempt to move on its 5-7 season record.
