In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the host West St. John Rams volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the St. Katharine Drexel Yellowjackets.
The Rams (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against St. James (St. James, LA). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, St. James was beaten by Academy of Our Lady (Marrero, LA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Yellowjackets face the South Plaquemines Hurricanes (Buras, LA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, October 16. St. Katharine Drexel will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Hurricanes go into the test with a 9-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Fisher (Lafitte, LA).
