The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) and the visiting Loyola College Prep Flyers (Shreveport, LA), saw Benton's volleyball squad beat Loyola College Prep by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Benton upgrades its record to 21-10 on the year. The Tigers travel to Parkway (Bossier City, LA) to play the Panthers in a Division I District 1 bout on Tuesday, October 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-20. Parkway lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Calvary Baptist Academy (Shreveport, LA)

The Flyers now own a 6-17 record. They play next when they host Red River for a Division IV District 1 bout on Thursday, October 19. Loyola College Prep will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Many (Many, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-11.
