North Carolina High School Football - Northwest Cabarrus tops Concord

October 16, 2025: Concord, NC 28025

The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans football squad scored 21 points and limited the host Concord Spiders to 8 in the Trojans non-league win on Thursday.

In their next game, the Trojans play the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 23. Northwest Cabarrus will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 33-0 non-league loss to Jay M. Robinson (Concord, NC).

The Spiders (0-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC). The Hornets go into the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Salisbury went down by South Rowan (China Grove, NC), 16-0, in a non-league test.
