Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Delone Catholic knocks off Covenant Christian Academy

Delone Catholic Squires (McSherrystown, PA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Covenant Christian Academy (Harrisburg, PA), 4-1 in a non-league challenge.
The now have a 4-10 record.
Match Summary
The Squires ended the season with a big win against another 1A school in Harrisburg, Covenant Christian Academy. Striking first was an excellent cross from Aidan Groves #53 to Nolan Kruse #9 who popped it in the net. Seconds later, Angello Salazar #2 passed a ball to Aidan Groves #53 who dribbled to the goal line and waited for the goalie to come to him and put it behind him in the goal. Several minutes later, Van Schneider #7 scored his first career goal with a pass from Angello Salazar #2 in front of the goal. Later in the half, Aidan Groves #53 passed a ball to Nolan Kruse #9 who dribbled to the right sideline and punted the ball to the goal with a mix of players none of who touched it and it went in. Coach Groves mixed it up after that with the Squires up 4-0 and put defenders on offense and played others from the bench including Kevin Yao #11 (senior) making his second varsity game appearance this season. CCA put one in later in the second half to make it 4-1.
