Colorado High School Football - Bayfield defeated by Salida

October 17, 2024: Salida, CO 81201

In Thursday's league game, the Salida Spartans (Salida, CO) football team were victorious over the visiting Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO), by a score of 28-7.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) in a 2A Intermountain game, on Friday, October 25. Salida will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Mean Moose enter the game with a 4-3 record after their 28-21 league loss to Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO).

The Wolverines (4-3) will now prepare for their game against Gunnison (Gunnison, CO). The Cowboys enter the 2A Intermountain game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Gunnison ran past Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO), 41-27, in a league game.
