In Saturday's non-league match, the Parkersburg Big Reds (Parkersburg, WV) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Wheeling Park Patriots (Wheeling, WV), by a count of 2-0.

Next up, the Big Reds confront the Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 18. Parkersburg will attempt to better on its 16-16 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 29-4 record after their 2-0 league win over Huntington (Huntington, WV).

With the loss, Wheeling Park drops to 9-16 on the campaign. The Patriots host Morgantown (Morgantown, WV) to clash with the Mohigans in a bout on Tuesday, October 21.
