North Carolina High School Football - North Rowan tips Lexington

The crowd at Thursday's league contest between the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) and the visiting Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), observed North Rowan's football squad edge Lexington by a count of 21-14.

The Cavaliers now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they travel to Salisbury for a 1A/2A Central Carolina contest on Friday, October 27. North Rowan will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 44-13 league win over Lexington (Lexington, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 9-0.

Coming up next, the Yellowjackets encounter the Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC) in a 1A/2A Central Carolina contest, on Friday, October 27. Lexington will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 6-3 record after their 60-22 league win over East Davidson (Thomasville, NC).
