In Thursday's league match, the host Pyramid Lake Lakers football squad scored a good 62-42 victory over the Mineral County Serpents.

In their next game, the Lakers clash with the Virginia City Muckers (Virginia City, NV) in a 1A West (8 Man) match, on Friday, October 27. Pyramid Lake will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Muckers enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 38-20 league loss to Eureka (Eureka, NV).
