The Iona Prep Gaels walloped the visiting Kellenberg Memorial Firebirds football team by a score of 41-8 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Gaels play the Chaminade Flyers (Mineola, NY) in a challenge, on Saturday, October 26. Iona Prep will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Flyers go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 20-0 non-league loss to Archbishop Stepinac (White Plains, NY).
The Firebirds (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Monsignor Farrell (Staten Island, NY). The Lions go into the non-league challenge with a 3-1 record.
