The Dighton Hornets volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Weskan Coyotes to 0 in the Hornets non-league victory on Monday.

The Hornets now have a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wheatland-Grinnell for a non-league game on Monday, October 2. Dighton will meet a Thunderhawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lebo (Lebo, KS). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 20-6.

The Coyotes (1-18) will now prepare for their game against Wheatland-Grinnell (Grainfield, KS). The Thunderhawks enter the Western Kansas Liberty game with a 20-6 record. In their last game, Wheatland-Grinnell dropped by Lebo (Lebo, KS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
