The Woodward Academy War Eagles flag football team scored 12 points and held the host Northview Titans to 7 in the War Eagles league victory on Thursday.

In their next game, the War Eagles face the Tri-Cities Bulldogs (East Point, GA) in a D4 Area 4 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Woodward Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 18-0 non-league loss to Douglass (Atlanta, GA).

The Titans (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lakeside (Atlanta, GA). The Vikings enter the D4 Area 4 challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Lakeside held off Cross Keys (Atlanta, GA), 41-0, in a non-league challenge.
