The R.A. Long Lumberjacks soccer squad scored 1 points and held the visiting Ridgefield Spudders to 0 in the Lumberjacks league victory on Thursday.
The Lumberjacks now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Columbia River for a 2A Greater St. Helens bout on Tuesday, October 7. R.A. Long will play a Rapids squad coming off a 4-0 league win over Washougal (Washougal, WA). The Rapids record now stands at 7-0.
With the loss, Ridgefield drops to 3-5 on the season. The Spudders host Hudson's Bay (Vancouver, WA) to face the Eagles in a 2A Greater St. Helens game on Tuesday, October 7. The Eagles enter the game with a record of 0-7. Hudson's Bay lost 6-0 in their recent league game against Hockinson (Brush Prairie, WA)
