Stillwater Ponies (Stillwater, MN) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they observed their soccer squad nudge the visiting Woodbury Royals (Woodbury, MN), 2-1 in a league outing.

The Ponies (9-2) will now prepare for their outing against Hudson (Hudson, WI). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 13-0 record. In their last outing, Hudson got by Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI), 6-0, in a league outing.

In their next game, the Royals clash with the Park Wolfpack (Cottage Grove, MN) in a non-league test, on Saturday, October 4. Woodbury will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Wolfpack come into the test with a 5-6 record after their 1-1 non-league Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN).
