South Dakota High School Volleyball - Parker/Marion over Alcester-Hudson

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Parker/Marion Pheasants (Parker, SD) and the visiting Alcester-Hudson Cubs (Alcester, SD), observed Parker/Marion's volleyball team top Alcester-Hudson by a count of 3-0.

With the win, Parker/Marion improves its record to 13-11 on the season. The Pheasants host West Central (Hartford, SD) to encounter the Trojans in a A Region 3 battle on Monday, October 6. The Trojans go into the battle with a record of 13-5. West Central won 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Canton (Canton, SD)

The Cubs now own a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Burke for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. Alcester-Hudson will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Boyd County (Spencer, NE). The Cougars record now stands at 18-1.
