The South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC) football defeated the visiting J.F. Webb Warriors (Oxford, NC), 42-12 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Granville Central Panthers (Stem, NC) in a 2A/3A Northern Lakes bout, on Friday, October 27. South Granville will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 1-8 record after their 49-0 league loss to Louisburg (Louisburg, NC).
The Warriors (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Vance County (Henderson, NC). The Vipers enter the 2A/3A Northern Lakes bout with a 9-0 record. In their last bout, Vance County defeated Carrboro (Carrboro, NC), 49-14, in a league bout.
