In Friday's league game, the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) football team smashed the visiting Sandia Matadors (Albuquerque, NM), by a score of 51-0.

The Bears (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Farmington (Farmington, NM). The Scorpions come into the 6A District 2/5 game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Farmington was ripped by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 44-40, in a league game.
