Texas High School Volleyball - Mount Vernon over Quitman

In Friday's league contest, the Mount Vernon Tigers (Mount Vernon, TX) volleyball squad were winner over the host Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Tigers face the Harmony Eagles (Big Sandy, TX) in a 3A Region II District 13 contest, on Tuesday, October 24. Mount Vernon will attempt to better on its 13-16 season record. The Eagles go into the contest with a 21-13 record after their 3-0 league win over Mineola (Mineola, TX).

With the loss, Quitman moves to 6-21 on the year.
