The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Deer Lakes Lancers (Russellton, PA) and the visiting Central Valley Warriors (Monaca, PA), witnessed Deer Lakes's ice hockey team defeat Central Valley by a final score of 8-3.

The Lancers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Elizabeth Forward (Elizabeth, PA). The Warriors come into the challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Elizabeth Forward was routed by Knoch (Saxonburg, PA), 7-4, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Knoch Knights (Saxonburg, PA) in a challenge, on Thursday, October 30. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
