The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Ledyard Colonels (Ledyard, CT) and the visiting Wheeler Lions (North Stonington, CT), saw Ledyard's soccer squad beat Wheeler by a count of 5-1.
The Colonels now hold a 3-10 record. They play next when they travel to Old Lyme for a non-league test on Monday, October 23. Ledyard will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Morgan (Clinton, CT). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Wheeler drops to 7-6 on the season. The Lions host Windham (Willimantic, CT) to meet the Whippets in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 24. The Whippets come into the test with a record of 7-6. Windham won 5-2 in their recent league test against New London (New London, CT)
