Colorado High School Football - Rye topples Banning Lewis Academy

The Rye Thunderbolts (Rye, CO) football defeated the host Banning Lewis Academy Stallions (Colorado Springs, CO), 16-6 in Saturday's league bout.

In their next game, the Thunderbolts face the Rocky Ford Meloneers (Rocky Ford, CO) in a 1A League 3 bout, on Friday, October 28. Rye will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Meloneers enter the bout with a 0-8 record after their 41-0 league loss to Peyton (Peyton, CO).
