The New Bedford Whalers smashed the host Middleborough Sachems soccer squad by a margin of 4-0 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Whalers now sport a 5-6 record. They play next when they host Brockton for a Big Three match on Tuesday, October 25. New Bedford will encounter a Boxers squad coming off a 4-1 league win over Durfee (Fall River, MA). The Boxers record now stands at 5-2.
