The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI) and the host Kettering Captains (Waterford, MI), saw Milford's volleyball squad beat Kettering by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Milford upgrades its record to 24-9 on the year. The Mavericks travel to South Lyon (South Lyon, MI) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, October 22. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 27-10.

The Captains now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Lakeland for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 22. Kettering will play a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Northville (Northville, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 20-3.
