The Boyd County Lions soccer squad scored 1 points and held the host Estill County Engineers to 0 in the Lions non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Lions now hold a 17-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Laurel for a non-league bout on Thursday, October 24. Boyd County will play a Jaguars squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-3.
With the loss, Estill County moves to 13-6 on the year.
