The Powdersville Patriots football squad scored 42 points and limited the visiting Carolina Academy Trojans to 0 in the Patriots league triumph on Friday.
The Patriots now sport a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Joseph's Catholic for a AAA Region 2 test on Friday, October 31. Powdersville will face a Knights team coming off a 42-21 league win over Palmetto (Williamston, SC). The Knights record now stands at 5-4.
The Trojans (2-7) will now prepare for their game against Southside Christian (Simpsonville, SC). The Sabres enter the AAA Region 2 game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Southside Christian overwhelmed Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC), 31-0, in a league game.
