Scott Highlanders (Huntsville, TN) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting Pickett County Bobcats (Byrdstown, TN), 42-8 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Scott advances its record to 1-8 on the season. The Highlanders host Austin-East (Knoxville, TN) to play the Roadrunners in a 3A Region 2 battle on Friday, November 1. The Roadrunners go into the battle with a record of 2-7. Austin-East won 49-14 in their recent league battle against Union County (Maynardville, TN)

The Bobcats now own a 1-7 record. They play next when they host Grundy County for a non-league battle on Friday, November 1. Pickett County will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 50-8 league loss to Sequatchie County (Dunlap, TN). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-6.
