In Saturday's league challenge, the host Sacred Heart Academy Irish volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Vestaburg Wolverines.

The Irish (36-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Fulton (Middleton, MI). The Pirates come into the Mid-State challenge with a 16-9 record. In their last challenge, Fulton beat Carrollton (Carrollton, MI), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines meet the Sacred Heart Academy Irish (Mt. Pleasant, MI) in a Mid-State challenge, on Saturday, October 26. Vestaburg will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Irish come into the challenge with a 30-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Fulton (Middleton, MI).
