Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS), 54-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Warren Central upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Vikings host Jim Hill (Jackson, MS) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Conquistadors play the South Panola Tigers (Batesville, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 3. Olive Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 61-29 non-league win over Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS).
