Virginia High School Volleyball - Alleghany overwhelmed by Wilson Memorial

In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Wilson Memorial Green Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Alleghany Mountaineers.
The Green Hornets (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Riverheads (Staunton, VA). The Gladiators come into the Shenandoah battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Riverheads achieved victory over Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Mountaineers clash with the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) in a Three Rivers battle, on Tuesday, October 4. Alleghany will attempt to advance on its 0-13 season record. The Highlanders come into the battle with a 11-0 record after their 3-0 league win over James River (Buchanan, VA).
