The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) and the visiting Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA), saw Grayson County's volleyball squad beat Fort Chiswell by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Grayson County upgrades its record to 10-7 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Auburn (Riner, VA) to play the Eagles in a Mountain Empire bout on Tuesday, October 10. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-3.

The Pioneers now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Auburn for a Mountain Empire bout on Thursday, October 5. Fort Chiswell will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 14-3.
