Texas High School Volleyball - Quitman routed by Mount Vernon

The Quitman Bulldogs volleyball team (Quitman, TX), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Mount Vernon Tigers (Mount Vernon, TX)

The Tigers (11-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Harmony (Big Sandy, TX). The Eagles enter the 3A Region II District 13 challenge with a 17-13 record. In their last challenge, Harmony defeated Mineola (Mineola, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Winona Wildcats (Winona, TX) in a 3A Region II District 13 challenge, on Friday, October 6. Quitman will attempt to move on its 6-18 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 0-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Chapel Hill (Mount Pleasant, TX).
